From Atlanta, travel 75/85 Southbound thru downtown Atlanta. As you approach the 75/85 split, stay 85 Southbound towards Columbus, GA.
Go about 60 miles on I-85 to I-185 (Columbus bypass). Stay on I-185 bypass for 40 miles. Take ramp onto US-80 – go 6.6 miles. (watch for indicators to Phenix City, Alabama, US-80).
As soon as you are heading out of Phenix City on 231/431 South, you'll pass Troy University, then immediately on your left is I-165 South Bypass at blinking light. Take a left and you will travel about 30 minutes till it dead ends to 231/431 South. (This will cut off time!!)
Stay on 231/431 South thru Eufaula and follow into Dothan. US-431 becomes Ross Clark Circle (US-84) – go 5.8 miles. Turn on S Oates St (US 231 South) – go 3.2 miles.
Continue on US 231 - you’ll see the signs saying south to Panama City, FL.
US 231 is a 4 lane highway. After about 45 minutes of driving south, past Florida line.....
Look for Star Ave. on your left after Short Stack pancakes on right
Left on Star Ave for 6.7 miles
Right on SR -22 for 1.5 miles - This dead ends to US-98. Left on US-98.
Stay on US-98 for 35.6 to Port St Joe. (hwy runs coast line of Florida. Go thru Mexico Beach) You will go thru the town of Port St. Joe. Landmarks in Port St Joe are the Marina, Piggly Wiggly, SunCoast Grill)
As you leave Port St. Joe on Hwy 98........(you'll receive exact directions to beach house upon receipt of deposit.)
Note: when going back north out of Dothan, stay 431 north towards Georgia

SHORT VERSION: 85-S to 185-S to 80W Phenix City, AL. You'll see signs to 231/431 South to Eufaula/Dothan. Take a left on 231/431 into Eufaula/Dotthan. Follow 231 South signs to Panama City.
Once you are in Florida on 231, you'll stay on 231 until you see Star Road (sign for a package store).
Left on Star Road for 6.7 miles, then Right on SR -22 for 1.5 miles, Left on US 98.
Stay on 98 thru Mexico Beach, thru Port St. Joe...
